Flat Belly Diet Day 4

Well, it's the last day of the jumpstart. Yesterday was rough. I was really wanting a box of GS cookies. But didn't have any. I stuck to the diet, but to ease my craving i had some oatmeal with semisweet chips and natural PB. It was so yummy, but so rich I could only eat a couple bites. And it curved my craving. I got up this moring and I've lost another 3lbs. for a total of 7 lbs. I just hope that I continue to loose when I move on to the next part of the diet. It calls for a few more calories, around 1600, whereas the Jumpstart is around 1200 I'm back on track. I'm going to make this work. I want to loose weight.

Flat Belly Diet Day 2

WOOOOHOOO!!! In 1 day I dropped 4lbs and Matt dropped 6lbs. This diet is so easy. It's all about will power. You only eat what is on the 4 day plan, and nothing else. The hardest was last night after the girls went to bed. That's usually snack time, but we refrained!! I am hooked!

Flat Belly Diet Day 1

Matt and I officially started our diet this morning. We woke up at 5:15am and got on the the treadmills for about 25 minutes. I got his lunch packed and made our breakfast. We had 1 cup corn flakes, 1 cup skim milk, 1/2 cup applesauce (unsweetened) and 1/4 cup sunflower seed, along with 16oz water. I have to tell ya, at first I thought "that's not enough"....holy cow was I wrong...I'm so full right now. Which I guess is a good thing cause I can't eat anything until lunch time.

I still need to weigh myself and take my starting measurements. And I need to get on the Wii Fit. I try to make that a part of my daily routine. I think this diet is going to go really well...or at least I hope it does.

Flat Belly Diet

I went to my mom's house the other day, and she had this book. She started reading some of it, and let me look through it. I got really excited about it, and when I got home I ordered the book for myself. Matt and I are both going to do it. It starts with a 4 day, 1200 calorie, diet. It gives you a list of all of the food you need to have, and what to eat when. It claims in just those 4 days you could loose up to 7 lbs. After the 4 days you start a 4 week diet. You get to choose a breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner. You eat every 4 hours, no more that 400 calories at each meal. The thing I like the most about this is it's all there for you. I have my shopping list for the first four days, and after that I just need to plan a weeks worth of meals and make my list.

In addition to the diet, Matt and I have been getting up at 5:15am most mornings and getting on the treadmills. Afterwards, while he's in the shower, i've been doing Yoga and Strength Training on the Wii Fit. I love the Wii Fit. And i'm starting to see that I can stretch so much better than I have been lately.

I'm very excited about this diet plan and hoping to drop some of this belly weight. I'm going to take a before shot, so in 4 weeks I can take an after and hopefully we will see a difference.

So don't be surprised if I come here venting how horrible this diet is.....I tend to do that in the beginning of a diet.

Shot Show, Orlando Florida

Before going on our Cruise, Matt and Derek had some work to do at the Orlando Shot Show. While they were making deals, Amanda and I got to meet R.Lee Ermey, aka "The Gunny". He was such a nice man! There was also this building that was built to look upside down. It was crazy!

The Rock Boat Niner

We got to Miami on Saturday January 17th to get on the Carnival Destiny for The Rock Boat. This was our first Rock Boat experience and weren't really sure what we were in for. It was 5 nights of concerts by various artists. We saw Cowboy Mouth, Zac Brown Band, Blackberry Smoke, and Tyrone Wells numerous times, along with many other artists. We had a blast, and can't wait to do it again next January!
